Client Confidentiality: Disclosures to DBA consultants regarding business practices, trade secrets, and personal feelings toward other associates will not be revealed to outside parties except in the following instances:
- Where the client’s written permission has been granted;
- Where the client’s physical safety or the physical safety of another person is threatened;
- Where evidence is given of physical, sexual, child, or elder abuse;
- Where the business activities disclosed are illegal; or
- Where records are subpoenaed by a judge.
